What is “bottom up” organization?
It means the residents of the community in need are the ones who decide what is best for them.
What do you do?
We empower urban residents to transform their underdeveloped personal and neighborhood assets into increased market leverage-able competencies by solving the root cause of priority problems.
How do I join?
You can become a Host Neighbor. Residents dedicated to solving neighborhood problems through training in self-governance and project management. Host Neighbor demographics mirror the demographics of the Seeds community. They have undergone the Kellogg Foundation’s leadership, accountability, and life-skills training program.
Can I be a host neighbor even though I don’t live there?
If you live outside of the seed area this is called an Ambassador.
Are you faith based?
We are not faith based. We are faith directed.
